The First Synths Trading Contest with Prizes for All!
On September 25, the synthetic asset protocol Wayki-X launched. At launch, Wayki-X supported trading of synths representing cryptocurrencies, global stock indices, and US stocks. It allowed for one-click investment in global high-quality target assets. A synth is a digital asset. Its price is anchored to the price of the actual asset. You can trade synths without the need to hold the respective actual asset. [Rules]
Eligible participants: all WaykiTimes users
Time: 12:00 PM on Dec 23, 2020–12:00 PM on Dec 30, 2020 (HKT)
1. Tradeable products are limited to the listed synths;
2. Rank corresponds to users’ yield and updates every 4 hours;
3. During the contest, data on participants’ yield is collected.
Formulas:
(1) Yield = profit during the contest / capital during the contest × 100%;
(2) Profit during the contest = the current synth price — (xUSD deposits during the contest — xUSD withdrawals during the contest) — synth value at the contest start;
(3) Capital during the contest = synth value at the contest start + xUSD deposits during the contest
Note: Synth value at the contest start is the total value of synth and xUSD holdings. The value of synth holdings is calculated by synth price at the contest start.
A simple example for easier understanding of yield:
Assume that the total initial value of synths in wallet address A is 100 xUSD at the contest start. It earned 30 xUSD by trading the xBTC synth (synth prices are in xUSD) and deposited 80 xUSD at 7:00 AM and withdrew 20 xUSD at 11:00 AM. The transaction fees aside, the relevant daily data is:
Capital: 100 + 80 = 180 xUSD
That day’s synth value: 100 + 30 + 80–20 = 190 xUSD (displayed in the wallet)
Profit: 190 — (80–20) — 100 = 30 xUSD
Yield: 30 ÷ 180 × 100% = 16.67%
4. The top 10 participants in the final ranking at 12:00 HKT on December 30 will get the corresponding rewards;
5. The winners must qualify all of the following three requirements to get the rewards:
1) buy amount not less than 100 xUSD;
2) total trading volume not less than 300 xUSD;
3) the number of traded synths not less than 3 and the total number of filled orders not less than 10.
6. The WUSD and WGRT rewards will be sent to WaykiChain wallets of the winners within one week after the contest ends.

2. Prizes of Honor
The following 4 participants can receive 10,000 WGRT each as the Prize of Honor (the prize will locked up and released when BTC price reaches USD 55,000):
1) the user with the highest single buy trade;
2) the user with the highest number of filled orders;
3) the user with the highest total trading volume;
4) the user with the highest profit amount.
3. Airdrop
Contest participants whose trading volume reaches 100 xUSD share the 100,000 WGRT airdrop. Airdrop lock-up is 6 years.
Note: One participant cannot receive both the Yield Rank Prize and the Prize of Honor. All qualifying participants can get the airdrop. The lock-up time starts from the day of reward distribution.
