WaykiChain Statement on Legal Notice of Rumors about Hackathon Issue

Recently, some participants of WaykiChain(WICC) X Huobi Korea Hackathon posted false comments and conversations on the network and communities about WaykiChain’s one year default in paying prizes. In this regard we make the following response:

1. As stated in the contract WaykiChain signed for Hackathon, the legal responsibilities of participants (here refers to Huobi WaykiChain Hackathon developer teams) are to finish developing their Dapps first then their prize can be paid. WaykiChain technical team did not receive any work proof of this. According to the contract, WaykiChain has the right to keep prizes.

2. All participants who have completed their work and provided proof have been paid prizes. Although the competition has been over for a year, WaykiChain is still willing to pay prizes if other participants of Hackathon can finish their work mentioned in the contract and provide work proofs.

3. WaykiChain keeps all our words and respect every participant of Hackathon and remains the right against deliberate defamation. Whoever violates the provisions to spread the false information shall be investigated for legal responsibility according to law.

WaykiChain thanks all the participants attended to Hackathon and looks forward to the completion of their work.
